Xiaomi launches Mi Headphones and Mi earphones in India.

Soon after Xiaomi announced the 32GB variant for the Mi 4i along with Mi Store app, the company has now launched new Xiaomi Mi Headphones and Mi in-ear headphones in India. The Mi headphones are priced at Rs 5,499 while the new Mi in-ear headphones are priced at Rs 999. These devices will go on sale today at 10am via Mi.com.

In terms of features, the Mi headphones sports an acoustic system supported by a large 50mm diaphragm that’s 4 times harder than steel and 60 percent lighter than titanium alloy. Measuring 50mm, this acoustic membrane is 25 percent larger than other regular headphones, creating a sound with good bass. The 3D sound produces a realistic listening experience which is said to distinguish melodies. In other features, it includes a low 32-ohm impedance along with a silver-plated straight cable. The device will be available in black and gold color variants and weighs 220 grams.

The company states that the headphone shave an optimized front cavity for improved treble performance. To optimize mid-range and bass performance, Xiaomi has modified the classic transmission line enclosure design with a patented sound chamber that incorporates spiral air-flow channels and extended bass output sound holes. The device will be available in a Space Grey color variant and weighs 14 grams.
