Top 3 ROMs for Moto E (1st gen)...

                       

  So many of the Moto E users are still on Android 4.4 and the one who are on Android L and if they want to try some more customization they can use these ROMs on their mobile phones.
              If you have rooted your phone and know how to flash ROM then only you should try these ROMs to know more about rooting and flashing you can watch tutorials on Youtube and many blogs are available. Official Android L does not give any authority to user to create different Users profile option and all these ROM supports this feature.
 1. CyanogenMod OS 12.1 Condor 
                    CyanogenMod is currently the best OS for the user`s you get many option for customization and it is the most secured OS after Stock OS it has the very large team for development and many developers and tech lovers are loving to install it on their phones. User get updates regularly every week.
       CM 12.1 is build on Android L 5.1 so if someone who is waiting for L 5.1 you can get it by installing CM 12.1.

Note: CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). 2. Paranoid Android 
                     Paranoid Android is quite famous after CyanogenMod it is build on Android L 5.0.2 it also offers same functions as CM do.
     Problem with this ROM is that it does not move many Application to SD card but it is fast and does not bring any lagging while using any functions. Paranoid also offers regular update to there user through OTA.

3. Tesla ROM
          The Best among three personally I think after using all of these ROMs I found Tesla ROM One of The best and most stable ROM. It have tons of features Slimpie, App circle and etc it has inbuilt SuperSu.
             It also have screen recorder inbuilt just like OnePlus One it is super fast and till now no bugs found based on Android L 5.1. The only feature lack in Tesla ROM is that it does not have Theme Engine but you can change or customize layers to look beautiful.
 Good news is that just yesterday the Tesla team has announced the latest version 1.9 go download it and enjoy it.
